A hospital, no shadow. Behind the doors people, voiceless people, under anaesthesia from their own pain. Upright I.V. drips, the groups of windows all around.
The tenderness of a human body, barely noticeable tension, tender like a caress, tender like the palm of a hand. Time falling down in big cubes from the ceiling. The distant voice of the television, everything is white.
The elegance of the equipment and unsteadiness of the syringes – at the end of the syringe a vision of god, who drops sparks into eternity. The perfect symmetry of the human body, like marking the the possibility of perfection, smoothness, like marking the protection.
Then the prior sounds of breaking off: steadfastness of directions, the pulse becoming indistinct, the rise of pressures, a total inescapability from itself. You make yourself aware of yourself, so you hear how the snowflakes are falling on the pine branches. Ever more disharmony-like, ever more dissonance-like.
Then the gate opens, bursting into flames, like an iconostasis, thousands of rabbits running wide to the meadows. The lip globe rises from the bed to the ceiling, and without the slightest difficult disperses in the air.
Hurrying shadows in the corridor, the cannons of wires on the walls.
The motionlessness of the beds in the corridor.
