Northwest Bow for a chamber ensemble is written during an important transition period in my creative work. It was to be my work which would glide continuously from tonal music to atonal and back. The idea was simple but the realization of this at that moment was very important for me.

And at the same time I poured out all my love in terms of church acoustics, to the visual experience connected with lighting in churches – as well as at the same time I wanted to ‘finish’ my fondness of f sharp in respect to it’s timbre.
